What we collect
- Account: email, username, optional avatar.
- Gameplay: runs, scores, streaks, tags earned, challenge mode, device locale/timezone.
- Social layer: rivalries, leaderboard rank, friend connections.
- Diagnostics: crashes, performance, basic device info (OS, app version, model).
- Analytics: events like session length, feature usage. No sale of personal data.
How we use data
- Run the game (matchmaking, leaderboards, tags, anti-cheat).
- Improve stability and balance, fix bugs, protect security.
- Show your public profile (username, tags, rank) to other players.
- Send service emails (account/security). Marketing is opt-in.
Social layer visibility
Mindboo is social by design. Certain items are public by default:
- Username, tags earned, leaderboard position.
- Challenge summaries (e.g., “13-second streak x5”).
You can change what appears on your profile where available. Private data (email, diagnostics) never appears publicly.
Sharing & processors
We don’t sell personal data. We use trusted providers to operate Mindboo, for example:
- Cloud hosting & databases
- Crash reporting & analytics SDKs
- Payment platform (if/when purchases exist)
Each acts under a data processing agreement and only for our purposes.
Retention
Account & gameplay data is kept while your account is active. We delete or anonymize after account deletion or inactivity periods required by law/business needs.
Security
We use encryption in transit, restricted access, and monitoring. No system is perfect—protect your device and keep logins safe.
Your rights
Depending on your location (e.g., EU/EEA, UK, California), you may have rights to:
- Access, correct, or delete your data
- Port your data
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Opt out of marketing

Children
Mindboo is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age in your region). We don’t knowingly collect data from children under that age.
International transfers
We may store/process data outside your country. When we do, we rely on lawful mechanisms (e.g., SCCs) and apply appropriate safeguards.
Changes to this policy
We’ll post updates here and adjust the “Effective” date. If changes are significant, we’ll notify you in-app or by email.
